Multi-Finder Pro helps users search multiple keywords on webpages, compare results, save reusable presets, and collect important passages as clips. This policy explains what information the extension processes.
1. Single Purpose
The extension exists to help users search webpages with multiple keywords, compare findings, and save reusable research workflows.
2. Information We Process
The extension does not send general browsing history or full page content to the developer backend.
- Locally stored data: Search keywords, advanced search settings, saved presets, URL-link rules, saved clips, dashboard filters, language settings, plan cache, and device token are stored in browser local storage.
- Auth data: A UUID, device token, license key, recovery code, and PIN may be sent to our backend only when the user uses premium activation or recovery features.
- Plan-state data: Minimal device and plan-state information may be checked against the backend to keep premium access synchronized.
3. How We Use Data
- Search and analysis: To run multi-keyword search, comparison, clustering, and reading-time estimation on webpages.
- Preset and clip storage: To let users reuse search workflows and keep saved research clips locally.
- Premium auth and recovery: To activate licenses, register devices, set PINs, and support recovery or recovery-code reissue.
- License-state checks: To periodically verify whether premium access remains valid.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share general browsing history or full page content for advertising or analytics. Payments are handled by Gumroad, and payment details are processed by Gumroad directly.

5. Third-Party Services and Retention
- Gumroad: Premium payments are processed through Gumroad. We do not store card or billing credentials.
- Local data: Presets, saved clips, and search state remain in the user's browser until the user deletes them or uninstalls the extension.
- Auth backend logs: Minimal logs related to license validation and device recovery may be retained for security and operations.
6. User Rights
Users can delete local data by clearing browser storage or uninstalling the extension. Premium users can restore access through the device-recovery flow.
7. Children's Privacy
The extension is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
